1.5.6 Furniture Design (Part 2)

Things that we should have already done in 1.2.3.P Furniture Design:

Each person researched and drew 3 sketches of ideas for chairs OR tables with storage

You evaluated all sketches using criteria listed on your paperwork.  (check the 1.2.3. paperwork that you already turned in)

What you are going to do now -

Step 1) Using Inventor, you are going to design the highest scoring idea as a life-size 3d model.  If you cannot decide upon a "best" idea you can either come up with a new idea or combine pieces from your previous ideas into a new creation.

Step 2) Create an Assembly of all of the parts for your furniture. At this point, you can go into "Tools" and adjust your materials and appearance to make it look as cool as possible.

Step 3) Export your finished Assembly as a CAD (.STL) file. Drag that from your documents to a flash drive and give it to your teacher to be converted into a Makerbot file.

Step 4) 3d print a 3d model of your furniture.

Step 5) Submit your .STL file into Canvas to be graded

There is no paperwork for this project, you will upload your .STL file when you are completely done.
You must have your .stl file finished before the start of class on Friday or you will not be allowed to 3d print your creations.
