You only have to do
all of this the first time you download a time card
Step 1) Make sure that
you are logged into both your Canvas account (https://sandiegounified.instructure.com)
and your Google Drive (https://drive.google.com) before starting.
Step 2) Along the
right side of your screen, click where it says “Time Card This Week”. This will
open up a blank time card for this current week.
Step 3) Go to File –
Make a Copy
Step 4) Put the copy
of the file in your GTT Turn in Folder. Get rid of the words “Copy of” and replace
the “@” with your initials at the end.
Step 5) When the new
copy pops up, edit it to show all of your actual information. Replace the “Last Name, First” with your
actual last name, a comma, then your first name or the name you go by in class.
Step 6) Change any
points to match your efforts or absences for the current week. Change the zeros to ones for points that you
feel that you have earned for the week.
Step 7) Go back into Canvas
and in the “To-do List” along the right hand side click on the time card for
this week.
Step 8) When you do
this, you will need to scroll down to the bottom and click on the tab that says
“Google Doc”. Doing this will link
Canvas with your Google Drive.
Step 9) Once the list appears of all of the stuff in your Google drive, find the GTT Turn in Folder. Inside find the time card for this week with your initials at the end. Highlight it and click on submit to submit the assignment.
Optional - Step 10) After you get the message that says you have submitted the assignment, double click on the link it gives you to double check what you turned in is what you want me to grade.
For every time after the first one
Step 1) Log into your Google
Drive. (https://drive.google.com)
Step 2) Open the last
complete time card you uploaded. Make
sure that your name and period are correct.
Step 3) Rename the
time card to be the current week. You
have to do this in 2 different spots.
Step 4) Change any
points to match your efforts or absences for the current week
Step 5) Log into Canvas
(https://sandiegounified.instructure.com) and in the “To-do List” along the
right hand side click on the time card for this week.
Step 6) When you do
